to talk about Wayne County's budget process.




Responsibilities of the County Manager


The mission of the Office of County Manager is to implement the policies of the Board of Commissioners and applicable State statutes, promote county interests and to coordinate the work of the department managers and other employees.


The County Manager is responsible for the entire administration of personnel, management of public funds, implementation of programs and policies, and ensures the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our citizens.


In an effort to keep our citizens informed and to promote effective communications and public service, the County Manager is available to speak to civic and church groups. Please call (919) 731-1435 to schedule an appointment.


In addition to the County Manager, the Assistant to the County Manager/Clerk to the Board, the County Manager's Secretary/Assistant Clerk to the Board and the Communications and Media Relations Director are located on the 4th floor in the Wayne County Courthouse Annex, 224 E. Walnut Street in Goldsboro.
